*Pre-order* Limited edition Grey Heron

Between now and December I will be making a very limited run of 10 grey herons on pre-order! 

Made from trash collected on Sussex beach cleans, they will be a scaled down version of Dr Pepper (pictured), the grey heron I made in 2022 for the Worthing Creative Commissions exhibition with Colonnade House. You can watch a behind the scenes time-lapse of the Dr P making process on my instagram. I loved making this dude and I'm really looking forward to revisiting the process and working lots of tiny details into new heron buddies.

The new heron crew will be made to order from washed up fabrics, string, insulated wires, fishing gear, fishing beads, nylon fishing cords, ribbon, shoe laces, soft plastic packaging, washable face masks, reflective safety fabric, cable ties, security tags, straws, disposable cutlery, disposable packaging, lollipop sticks, hair bands and who knows what else that I'll come across during the making process.

Each heron will be framed in a white A3 box frame with your choice of river blue or white background.

£120 including a £30 deposit. Can be paid in 4 monthly £30 instalments. 

How it works

Place your order with a £30 deposit to secure your heron. You will get an automated email to confirm your order. 

I will email you to confirm your preferred background colour and arrange a schedule for the remaining payment - either full payment on completion or in monthly £30 instalments.  

I will get making! I'll make the herons on a first-come-first-served basis but they will all be ready in time for Christmas and I'll keep you posted along the way.

Each art work is handmade from beach plastics and materials collected on beach cleans and is therefore unique. Whilst I will work to the same design as Dr Pepper, each heron will be individual and use different materials.
