Christmas robin beach trash art workshop @Chapter34
Wednesday 4th December 7-9pm
Wednesday 18th December 7-9pm
Join me at Chapter 34 bookshop to make a robin or festive friend from discarded fishing rope and materials found on Sussex beach cleans. Come and create something to treasure from trash washed up on our beaches.
This will be a relaxed creative workshop where you can take some time out to be creative, embrace your inner child and settle in for some glueing and sticking. We will be exploring textures and colours to create a little character from trash that would have been thrown away.
These little floofy friends make beautiful and original Christmas gifts or fun decorations to celebrate winter and the nature that sustains us through the cold and the rain.
No experience needed and all equipment and materials provided, including your choice of canvas or frame. Please feel free to bring your own clean and dry fishing gear, beach finds or materials you would like to incorporate into your design.
Doors will be open from 6:30 for late night book browsing and sneaky Christmas shopping while all the rest of the shops are closed.
Accesibility - We will be in the upstairs space at Chapter34 which is accessed by stairs. Aged 10+
