Small birds beach trash art workshop @ Knepp

Small birds beach trash art workshop @ Knepp

Wednesday 24th April 6-8pm

Join me in the beautiful setting of Knepp to make a robin or your favourite small bird from discarded fishing rope and materials found on Sussex beach cleans. Celebrate Spring, the season of new beginnings and renewal, longer days and (hopefully) the return of some sunshine. Come and create something to treasure from trash washed up on our beaches.

We will be in the beautifully renovated 16th century Cow Barn in the Knepp rewilding project. The perfect place to listen to the birds settle for the evening as we come together to get creative.

This workshop is a fundraiser for the White Stork Project, raising money for their new nest-cam and their ongoing research into stork behaviour and reintroduction. Laura, the White Stork Project manager, will be joining us ready to answer all your stork questions. Visit their nest-cam and see what the storks are up to here

No experience needed and all equipment and materials provided, including your choice of canvas or frame. Please feel free to bring your own clean and dry fishing gear, beach finds or materials that you would like to incorporate into your design.

Refreshments will be available and you are very welcome to bring your own.
