Garden birds beach trash art workshop

Garden birds beach trash art workshop

Saturday 9th March 11:00-14:00

Additional dates and venues coming soon

Join me at Chapter 34 bookshop to make a robin or your favourite garden bird from discarded fishing rope and materials found on Sussex beach cleans. Celebrate Spring, the season of new beginnings and renewal, longer days and (hopefully) the return of some sunshine. Come and create something to treasure from trash washed up on our beaches.

This is a longer workshop where we can focus on adding texture and detail and take our time to be creative and make connections with some like-minded folks.

No experience needed and all equipment and materials provided, including your choice of canvas or frame. Please feel free to bring your own clean and dry fishing gear or beach finds you would like to incorporate into your design.

The bookshop cafe will be open for teas, coffees, hot chocolates (including a pink one!) and chai lattes available to buy throughout the event. The bookshop is a stunner so why not head over early and have a browse of the shelves?

Accesibility - We will be in the upstairs space at Chapter34 which is accessed by stairs. Aged 10+
